What We're Reading in May

All of our kids love animals and so this month we will explore not only animals, but the ways in which they are endangered and how they can be protected. Our theme “Endangered Animals” will explore some of the animals whose lives and habitats are in danger including bears, ocean life, and rhinos. We will also learn the ways in which the environment and animals are connected and how each one affects the other. So far, we already have several exciting visitors lined up who will speak about protecting the environment and provide some hands-on experiences for students to learn more about animals and conservation. This is such an important topic for our community to understand and embrace and we look forward to sharing more opportunities for kids to learn how THEY can make a difference in our world!
