The Heart House family is proud to announce news from Heart House South! Although it has taken awhile to update everyone, we are extremely excited about being able to expand HH's operations to the South Austin community. Heart House South is located in the Trails at the Park Apartments, just off of Slaughter Lane. HH South serves approximately the same number of students and provides the dynamic and nurturing programming that our North location is well known for in their community.
Heart House South opened its new doors in August of 2007, with Joey Borja taking the helm as Site Director. The transition was easy he says, because of the "hard working staff and support from our parents." We have many special events and programs such as Reading Buddies and lots of guest speakers. Volunteer spots are available for spring and summer! Stop by for a visit and see what HH South is all about!
