Out of the Mouths' of Babes

On one of my recent visits to Heart House on Slaughter Lane, we had some "down time" and I had an opportunity to talk with some of the kids, program leaders and parents. I wanted to get to know them better so I asked them some revealing questions.

Question: Who would you invite to dinner and why?

• Kassidy 11 yrs. old -Angelina Jolie because she is married to Brad Pitt
• Kevin 11 yrs. old -Barack O'Bama because he wants him to win the presidency
• Alexa 6 yrs. old- Invite her Dad and Grand Pa because they are very nice to her
• Kevin 11 yrs. old -He would invite Eva Longoria because she is hot
• Renee Rios (mom) -She would invite Brad Pitt and forget Angelina Jolie
• Herme 8 yrs. old-She would invite Hanna Montana because all her fans love her and she thinks she is a good singer.

Question: If you could change your name, what would you call yourself?

• Katy 7 yrs old-Cat, because that is what everybody calls her
• Kadiata 22 yrs. old -(program leader) She would not change her name because it means first born daughter of royalty
• Desiree 9 yrs old- She would call herself Daisy because it is the name of a flower and that was the name of her lost rabbit
• Rosie 10 years old -Princess because she feels like a princess

Question: If you go anywhere where would it be?

• Lauren 6 yrs. age-She would go to Gatti Town
• Anaiah 9 yrs. old -She would go to Las Vegas because she could go gamble






• McKenzie 9 yrs. old -She would go to Hollywood first then Sydney Australia. Also she would go to Europe to meet her German family




• Desiree 9 yrs old. -She would go to Africa to see the animals
• Mariah 9 yrs. old- She would go to China to see the fireworks and stay up all night
• Rosie 10 yrs. old.-She would go to Hawaii because it is small and pretty

Question: What would you do if you had a million dollars?

• Alexa 6 yrs. old.-She would take the family to Disney World
• Lauren 6 yrs. old -She would buy 3 mansions, buy new clothes and give money to needy people
• Kassidy 12 yrs old- She would love to buy a Hummer Limo
